The Covid-19 pandemic have highlighted a situation that can impact the business: reduced flow of people in pharmacies, fewer visits to doctors and points of sale, which negatively impacted the Brazilian pharmaceutical retail and, consequently, the growth of Hypera.

In this scenario, Hypera wants to develop new business models for the continuation of revenue growth in the “new normal” where low touch is a new market trend.

1. Business understanding (Discovery/Define)

This first stage consists of an immersion in the Hypera business. Analysis of research done previously by IQVIA, understanding of general business concepts, flows and agents involved. It is a phase of more discoveries and opportunities.

2. Foundation (Develop/Delivery)

At this stage, the materialization of the concepts discovered in the previous step begins, that is, based on the knowledge obtained and proposed requirements, prototypes, tests and architectural strategies are built.

My role on the project

As UX Designer, I’ve been participate in all the stages. Since the discovery phase, through definitions, until the UI and prototype. I had the help of two others UX Designers, Isadora Blank and Lourenço Marques. 

Those deliverables are just a few examples of what we have done in this project. Throughout the process we have been analysed the business opportunities and internal flows that should change in order to maintain the Digital Transformation required.

Besides that we did a deep review of the market players, trying to figure out what they are doing and how this project will be distinguished. Moreover we based our decisions in a vast bibliography about usability, human-centred design, user experience and best practice for digital products.
